Jewel
Presenting Jewel, our resilient eight-year-old multicolor buckskin with a heartwarming tale of survival. Found in a field on the brink of death, Jewel battled severe malnutrition, leaving her with deformed legs and feet due to poor diet. Despite her challenging past, Jewel exudes an insatiable appetite, always seeming to hunger for more, a lingering reminder of her struggle for survival. Jewel found solace in a loving home and family, forming deep bonds that make separation difficult for her. Despite the loss of her little one, Kaleki, at 15 months old, Jewel remains a testament to strength and resilience. Join us in providing Jewel with the care she needs and supporting her journey towards a brighter and healthier future.

Magic
Introducing Magic, a remarkable 16-year-old white and light tan paint horse with an extraordinary spirit. Magic faced challenges in his early years when he was sold as a 4H horse to a young girl. The unfamiliar surroundings triggered fear and discomfort, leading to a difficult adjustment. However, fate intervened when the girl’s uncle, attending a conference at Mount Peale Sanctuary, sought a solution for Magic’s well-being. Magic found his forever home at Mount Peale when he stepped out of the trailer and into the barn stall, sensing he was finally where he belonged. Despite being blind with glaucoma, Magic radiates calmness and happiness, thriving in the sanctuary that has become everything to him. Today, Magic relies on our continued support to provide the care and attention he needs to lead a fulfilling life. Join us in fostering Magic’s well-being and ensuring he enjoys his home to the fullest.

Introducing Sadie, a graceful 24-year-old mare who defies the challenges of age with dignity and poise. Abandoned by her previous owner, Sadie’s back legs bear the mark’s of time, yet she moves with great care, embodying the essence of a true lady. Well-trained and incredibly sensitive, Sadie has seamlessly integrated into her new family of horses, finding joy and contentment in her loving home. Her resilience and positive spirit shine through as she navigates her golden years with grace. In her new surroundings, Sadie is more than a horse; she’s a symbol of love. Happy with her life, she forms special bonds with her caregivers, showcasing the profound connection that can be forged between humans and these magnificent creatures. Painted Arrow
Meet Painted Arrow, a resilient 9-year-old horse with a unique story of survival and loss. Dropped off in the middle of the night at Mount Peale Sanctuary alongside her recently departed mother, Red Rose, Painted Arrow faced the world alone. Both mother and daughter carried a shoulder deformity, diagnosed as a birth defect, marking a shared struggle. Arrow, having never had a positive relationship with humans, presents a work in progress as we endeavor to build trust. While he maintains a sweet and loving nature, Arrow prefers teaching and healing from a distance. His lessons are profound, offering insights into overcoming fear, frozen emotions, and withdrawal. Your support can make a difference in Painted Arrow’s journey, helping her forge connections and build trust with humans. Join us in fostering a nurturing environment for Painted Arrow as she continues to teach, heal, and find her way in the world that holds both challenges and opportunities.

Willie faced adversity when she was hit in the head, resulting in the loss of her eye and fractures in her face and jaw. Despite enduring these hardships, Willie remains a remarkably solid and grounded horse, radiating love and happiness in her home. Willie’s misalignment poses challenges in eating and sinus movement, yet her kind and affectionate nature shines through. She thrives on attention and boasts a beautiful and vibrant coat that adds to her unique charm. Born to a mother who endured starvation during a harsh winter, Rockit had to rely on her for sustenance, resulting in malnutrition that deformed his foot. Despite his challenging past, Rockit is a horse full of love and zest for life. He adores water, relishing the joy of being sprayed, and has a special affinity with young girls, thriving on the attention he receives. As we embrace Rockit’s journey, his needs include attentive care to address his unique challenges and ensure he continues to enjoy the love and companionship he deserves. Despite enduring a dramatic past, Googles remains a clown at heart, emotionally stuck at age 3 due to previous abuse. His resilience shines through, especially on the day he was rescued from harm inflicted by a person under the influence of major drugs, resulting in a broken leg. Today, Googles thrives in his loving home, forming a special bond with his companion, Rockit. Unable to imagine life without each other, these days two friends share a unique connection. Your generous donation can make a significant impact, providing Googles with the care he needs and helping him continue to enjoy the love and companionship of his dear friend Rockit.
